My Story
From a diagnosis I never saw coming to a mission to help others. The honest version, and why I keep telling it.
Read the journey →Liver disease and MASH often develop without a single symptom. We're here to break the silence, raise awareness, and save lives.
The liver works tirelessly behind the scenes, often giving no warning signs when something is wrong. Because liver disease and Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH) rarely show early symptoms, millions of people remain unaware until significant damage has occurred. Silent Organ Speaks was created to give a voice to a silent condition, bringing critical education, early detection resources, and patient advocacy into the light.
Around 33 to 38% of adults live with MASLD, and roughly 15 million U.S. adults have progressed to MASH, its more severe form.
Most MASH is now assessed with blood tests like FIB-4 and ultrasound. Only about 10% need a biopsy, so early detection leans on noninvasive tests.
Nearly half of cases are caught in primary care. Yet fewer than 5% of at-risk patients get metabolic screening first, so earlier conversations matter.
Figures are approximate and drawn from published liver-health research, shared for awareness, not diagnosis.
Whether you're newly diagnosed, caring for someone you love, or a clinician looking to listen, there's a doorway here for you.

I turned that fear into a mission: to learn everything, change how I live, and stand up so the next person catches it sooner.
